Looks like a nice place! I was in Ecuador a while ago and found some great AA meetings, but I was up in the Andes, not on the coast.

It seems you are about 40 or 50 miles from Guayaquil, right? I realize that's a pretty long drive but you'll certainly find some meetings there.

You can also try calling the local AA central office in Guayaquil, maybe someone there knows about meetings or individual members you can contact out where you are in Playas? It looks like the phone number for the AA office in Guayaquil is (593) 042-564073. Good luck!

Hey, check this out - here's a page that lists all of the meetings in the province where Guayaquil and your town are located.

I can't be sure, but it looks like the fourth meeting in the list (in 'General Villamil Playas") may be close to you.

And there are a couple of meetings at the bottom of the list in Posorja, which seems like it's another beach town just a few miles down the road from you.
