Happy Thanksgiving, all! (even those who are not from the USA and don't celebrate this holiday!). Today I'm visiting my family down in southern California for the holiday. This is where I got sober nearly 27 year ago, and I'll be attending my old home group later this evening. Some of the people who welcomed me as a newcomer are still there and it will be great to see old friends.

Belated Thanksgiving greetings! We spent the day cooking and eating and recovering from too much turkey and spuds. I don't think I even opened my computer at all yesterday. My son (22 year old) had a friend over and we all had a good time. Great to spend the day sober and enjoying the family.

You'll be grateful to 'remember' those times in the not to distant future ... I don't remember half the holidays during my drink'n days ...
