I'm needing to find an online sponsor! I'm tired of the life I'm living

First, welcome.

Second, a question - why does it have to be an on line sponsor? Why not go to AA meetings and find a real face-to-face sponsor?

Welcome to MIP wildhorse, ... glad you found us ...

I've tried 'on-line' sponsorship, didn't work very well ... mainly because I couldn't look the sponsee in the eyes and tell if they were being honest with me or not ... you can't BS a recovered, or recovering, alcoholic unless they can't see you and your facial expressions ... local AA groups should have well qualified sponsors available ... Face-to-face sponsorship is, no doubt, THE best way to go ...

I consider 'on-line' sponsorship an absolute last ditch option to sponsorship ...

I suggest you make every effort to attend some local, or out of town, meetings and get to know who loves their sober life and ask them to sponsor you ... be sure it's someone who has 'what you want', sobriety-wise ... they will help you turn your life around and learn how to find the life you're look'n for ... it takes a little work, but it's well worth it and you'll never regret it ...

Love ya man and God Bless,
Pappy
