I started a new job on Monday.

Got my anonymity broke by a AA friend I referred to the company.  Know the solutions.  Reached out for support - going to keep on keepin on and keep looking up.

That sucks...However AA isn't your weakness. It's your salvation and your solution now. I know it's wrong to have this happen but maybe there's some purpose in it..someone who needs the hand of AA might reach out to you there now...who knows?

I agree. It's frustrating to say the least, even after all these years. It not only violates a sacred oath, an oath we were sworn to protect, but it also goes against the core principle of all recovery programs, anonymity -that's the unfortunate part. There is, however, some good news to report, despite the unfortunate incident, and it centers around two key elements, acceptance and prayer. It's how we let go of the past, even in this day and age.

If the voice of experience has taught me anything, besides a wealth of knowledge, it's this: We're never alone. In fact, the opposite is true. Bill Wilson even took that concept one step further, when he penned an article back in 1955, entitled "Why Alcoholics Anonymous is Anonymous". This is what he said: "These hard fought lessons has made us entirely willing to accept and undertake every personal sacrifice necessary for the preservation of this sacred society". How true. You're one of those people, Tasha. It's sad that someone else had to remind you of that.  Just remember: "The  spiritual substance of anonymity is sacrifice", that's What Bill Wilson said back in the 1955. I can now see, he's right.  I hope you agree. Onward.

Hey Amigo --- yeah --- I did forget that for about 20 hours, and I blew this thing up to majestic sizes of horror, before some solutions kicked in and HP brought me to that simple conclusion on acceptance. I have some street cleaning to do as a result. Oh well... I'm so close to perfect I am really in need of a brush up on my amends stuff anyway LOLOLOL (Just a joke there). Plus, I hadn't called my sponsor for anything other than "what are we making for the picnic again?" in like... forever. *wink* *love* *kiss*
